Renewed Mind Global Advocacy (REMGA)
Renewed Mind Global Advocacy (REMGA) is a registered charity based in England and Wales (Reg: 1116407), dedicated to supporting marginalized and underprivileged communities both within the UK and internationally. Since our establishment, we have been committed to creating lasting change by addressing critical issues faced by disadvantaged individuals and families. Our work spans a wide range of initiatives designed to uplift these communities by providing vital resources and opportunities. From educational programs to health and wellness initiatives, economic empowerment and environmental protection. REMGA strives to foster a brighter more inclusive future for all.
Education and training
At REMGA, we believe education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our programs focus on providing access to quality education and skills training for marginalized communities. From academic support to vocational training, we empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed and improve their futures. Health and well being

REMGA is dedicated to enhancing the physical and mental health of underserved communities by providing access to healthcare resources, wellness programs, and essential hygiene products. Our initiatives promote holistic well-being, focusing not just on physical health but also mental and emotional support, helping individuals lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Economic empowerment is central to our mission at REMGA. We support disadvantaged communities by providing access to skills training, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Our goal is to help individuals and families break the cycle of poverty and build a stable economic foundation. At REMGA, our mission is to offer meaningful services to disadvantaged communities in the UK and Africa, particularly in Uganda. We focus on providing education and training opportunities, promoting health and well-being, fostering economic development and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. In addition, we are committed to environmental protection and enhancing community cohesion. Through our diverse programs—ranging from women’s health and hygiene initiatives to beekeeping, music, and football—REMGA works to build a more sustainable, equitable world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive
My Story
Oryem Alice
Oryem Alice founded Renewed Minds Global Advocacy (REMGA), a Christian charity, in 2006. With extensive experience in community work, Alice has made significant contributions in areas such as Waltham Forest, Haringey, South East London, and Uganda. Her primary focus is empowering women, young men, and girls by equipping them with personal skills and capabilities to improve their lives.
Through programs that involve sports, music, dance, farming, fashion, and various other creative and income-generating activities, Alice has helped individuals develop the skills needed to create employment opportunities, which in turn, supports their mental well-being.
Alice’s work also extends to collaboration with FENET, addressing critical issues such as mental health challenges among young people, particularly in Waltham Forest. In addition, she has played an essential role in human trafficking and modern slavery rescue efforts, offering support to families fleeing domestic violence and single parents struggling with mental health.
Currently, Alice is enrolled as a trainee child and well-being practitioner, contributing to the NHS’s long-term plan to provide mental health support for children and young people. She provides focused intervention, guided self-help, and support for young individuals facing mild to moderate mental health challenges, both in schools and within families.
